I was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia until my early twenties when I expanded my horizons and moved to the United States. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for art. As a young girl my favorite pastime was creating comic books. I continued my passion for art in my schooling. Through the college I attended in Colombia, my studies included art, advertising and photography.
Art and Family
Art has always had a strong presence in my family as my father, Enrique Ojeda, was a well known artist in South America. As both my father and college art professor, he was an instrumental piece in helping me build the foundation in which my art stems from. After relocating to the United States, I got married and have two amazing daughters, Rachel and Catherine. I’ve dedicated much of my time to raising my children and to my career in Fashion, but now that my daughters are grown, I’ve be able to dedicate my much of my time to my found again love of painting. This has not only been a passion for me, but my way of relaxation. I am overcome with joy and excitement to share my line of work.
